root veggie juice with apple
I am so very excited to share with you this latest (and perhaps greatest?) root veggie juice I created the other day. Like often happens in my kitchen, necessity being the mother of invention and all that, I make a juice that 'cleans out' much of our leftover veggies.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but every once and a while you get a combination so magical, so random (and potentially strange-seeming), but so delicious you just can't keep it to yourself. Here's one such juice recipe. Enjoy!
Root Veggie Juice
Ingredients:
- 1 large or 2-3 small beets
- 1 cup of cabbage
- 1 inch knob of ginger root
- 1 whole lemon
- 1 apple
- 2 white radishes (or radish of any kind)
Directions:
- Chop all items + juice.
- Enjoy immediately or cover and keep in fridge for about 48 hrs.
This juice makes about 2 servings.
