Magnificent Monday | Episode 17
A DC event to harness the energy of this lunar eclipse, a talented potter from NC, a package-free shampoo I've been using (and loving) for the last month, a ritual for the new year that's not too late to start and more to make your week magnificent.
Seriously, this works. And it lasts! And any ways we can start to re-organize our lives around less plastic is a good thing.
In love with this potter's mugs. And cups. And plates. And, well...you get the idea. We had the opportunity to meet him while in Durham recently and it was a pleasure!
Only 3 seats remain for the Supermoon and Total Lunar Eclipse circle this Wednesday. It is going to be big and beautiful. If you're a woman in D.C., I hope you'll join us.
Though we're approaching the full moon, there is absolutely still time to ground and center into what you want for 2018. Better yet - it's an opportunity to return to what you want. I love this woman and her work. I highly recommend this mini home journaling ritual.
While I do (often but not always) enjoy making Theo's food, finding this company has been a life-saver.
And last but not least, I leave you with these words of Mary Oliver:
When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks, and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness.
I would almost say that they save me, and daily.
I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.
Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, “Stay awhile.”
The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, “It’s simple,”
they say, “and you, too, have come
into the world to do this, to go easy,
to be filled with light, and to shine.
